Its weekend time again folks and memories of last weekend are still too clear in my mind. Walking down the good ‘ol Flinders Street, the “Cat” calls only got louder and I kept wondering what on earth kept the Sainties coach from giving more on field time to Luke Ball.
Well, all said and done, it was a great game of footy and although I wished our boys would have won, I think the game gave us all that we ask off it. It was close, had a few arguments, intensity was high, far from being one sided, isn’t that a perfect match with a few effen™ beers?
The Saints may not have won the Grand Final but they sure did qualify for being effen™ Great Blokes. Why? They sacrificed the 2nd half for their beloved mates in the Cats’ team, after all, 2 grand final loss in two years wouldn’t have looked too great, eh? So, if that’s not being an effen™ Great Bloke, then what is?
I guess the answer to that question lies in the hundreds of submissions I have already received for the effen™ Great Bloke competition and the thousands of more submissions I expect this weekend. Watched the video? Still confused? Think about this, what is effen™, think about the taste of effen™ (you might wanna down a few effen™ beers while thinking about this), the fine blend of Australian malts and New Zealand hops, a little sweet, a little bitter, no artificial flavours, all natural. Now, think about that as a person…….got the drift???
If you’re still having trouble then why not just come up with something totally whacky, out of the box. We sure would love to see your crazy ideas. You never know, what may seem crazy to you, might just turn out to be the winning submission for ONE YEAR OF effen™ BEER for You and Your Best Mate.
